Aloita Resort, one of the few surf resorts in the Mentawai, is situated on the island of Simakakang, in the vicinity of Tuapejat. You will go surfing twice daily with the speed boat that will take you to the famous neighboring spots surfing Telescopes, Scarecrows, Icelands or Jaraiks to only name a few.

If you feel like going diving with the certified instructors of the resort, there are dozen of world class dive spots around the island and nearby.
Fishing is excellent in the whole island chain, and the pristine coral reefs a delight for all the people willing to go snorkeling.

Aloita Resort has a day spa as well, where you can benefit from the appropriate therapy after your surf sessions.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Padang Airport, transfer to Bungus harbor and boarding AMBU-AMBU ferry in the afternoon, arrival the next morning at the resort, first surf in the area.
Day 2 to day 9 or 16: Surf in the Mentawai in the vicinity of Telescopes (Sipora).
Day 9 or 16: Departure for Padang aboard AMBU-AMBU ferry in the evening, arrival at Bungus harbor the next morning, transfer to Padang Airport by mid-morning to connect with outgoing international flights.
