The Mentawai islands, in West Sumatra, are with no doubt home to the best waves that you will ever encounter in Indonesia.
Filmed, photographed and talked about thousands of times in countless surfing magazines, these waves have been surfed during boat trips in the Mentawai since the end of the 80's by surfers from every corner of the world looking for a diet of daily surfing perfection in a tropical paradise.
