Surfed since the beginning of the 80's, the waves in Cempi Bay, in East Sumbawa, are a must for those who like surfing Sumbawa's perfect and powerful waves.
The place, best known as Lakey Beach, next to the small village of Hu'u, has no less than 6 waves breaking outside of its beautiful lagoon, plus a semi-secret spot nearby:
Lakey Peak (rights and lefts producing heavy barrels at low tide).
Lakey Pipe (hollow left, across the channel from Lakey Peak).
Nungas (long left, holding up to triple overhead).
Periscopes (great right-hander with 2 to 3 barrel sections).
A left hander and a right hander 30 minutes walk from the main Lakey area, in a little bay called Cobblestones.
And finally another spot 30 minutes drive from Lakey Beach, the perfect set-up to score awesome surf, surfing Lakey Peak in classical Indonesian conditions.

Starts from:
Kuta (Bali).
Itinerary:
Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to our hotel at mid-day.
Day 2: Bali-Hu'u (Sumbawa); Transfer in the morning to Denpasar Airport to connect with outgoing domestic flight, arrival in Bima after an hour flight and transfer to the hotel in Hu'u (Lakey Peak).
Jour 3 to 12: Surfing Lakey Peak and around.
Day 13: Hu'u-Bali; Transfer in the morning to Bima Airport, arrival in Denpasar after an hour flight and transfer to the hotel.
Day 14: Transfer to Denpasar Airport to connect with outgoing international flights, or to the hotel of your choice.
