TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF INDONESIAN SURFARIS.
1/ DEPOSIT, 2/ PAYMENT, 3/ CANCELLATION POLICY, 4/ MODIFICATION, 5/ RATES, 6/ INDONESIAN SURFARIS RESPONSIBILITY, 7/ PARTICIPANTS RESPONSIBILITY, 8/ RESPONSIBILITY DURING THE PRACTICE OF SURFING, 9/ TRAVEL INSURANCE, 10/ PRACTICALITIES, 11/ ACCOMMODATION, 12/ INCLUSIONS, 13/ EXCLUSIONS.
1/DEPOSIT :
Every booking, to be valid, must be followed by a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total cost.
This deposit must be paid at least 60 days before the departure date, otherwise the booking is not valid anymore.
The deposit must be paid at least 60 days before the departure date by bank transfer.
Those conditions apply to all the products offered by INDONESIAN SURFARIS.
For the Discounts ONLY, no deposit is required but the full payment is due 15 days before departure.
For safety reasons, we will communicate our bank details only after receiving your booking order via E-mail. Thank you for your kind understanding.
2/PAYMENT:
The balance of the total cost (final balance) must be paid within 90 days after the deposit has been transfered (for early bookings, 6 months or more before the beggining of any trip), and not later than 30 days prior to the date of arrival in Indonesia.
Must be paid in Euros: Surf Trips (Nias, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Sumba, Rote) and Surf School packages.
Must be paid in USD: All the other products offered by INDONESIAN SURFARIS.
In a case of non-payment of the final balance at least 30 days before departure, INDONESIAN SURFARIS has the right to cancel the booking, and the deposit will automatically be lost.
For the Discounts ONLY, the full payment is due 15 days before departure.
A one time fee of 30 USD is charged during the payment of the balance to cover our bank transfers costs
3/CANCELLATION POLICY:
Every cancellation must be notified to INDONESIAN SURFARIS by E-mail.
If any cancellation occurs between the date of the deposit transfer until the date of departure:
1:The deposit will be lost.
2:The balance of the total cost (final balance) will be held (if it has already been transferred) but can be used toward a future trip (within two years).
Those conditions apply for all the Surf Trips offered by INDONESIAN SURFARIS.
For all the other products offered by INDONESIAN SURFARIS, the deposit and the balance of the total cost (final balance) will be lost.
4/MODIFICATION:
INDONESIAN SURFARIS cannot be held responsible for any delay in air, rail, land or sea transfers that would cause any participant to be late on the date of departure and miss his/her transport to the final destination (i.e. Indonesia), whatever the reason, even if this delay is independent of the participant's will and/or due to special circumstances and/or to other people's fault.
The delays on the way to and back from destination (i.e. Indonesia), that may be caused by any circumstances that may occur, cannot call for any refund if the initial duration of any of our trips is modified.
There are no refunds or partial refunds given for poor surf or inclement weather. In addition, there are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to unstable global, national, or local political situation that does not directly pose a threat to the safe operations of our products.
5/RATES :
INDONESIAN SURFARIS has the right to modify its prices without prior notification.
An increase of the cost of transportation, or of the cost of petrol, would be taken in account and would increase the price of some of our products.
The people who would already have paid a deposit would be informed by E-mail and would have to pay the difference between the initial price and the increased price.
All our prices, for every product, take in account the duration of the stay. In the duration are included the days of arrival in Indonesia and the days of departure from Indonesia. Therefore, if the first day and/or the last day was to be shortened because of airlines schedules, no refund could be asked for.
Are excluded from the prices:
Travel and luggage insurance (boards are not covered), medical evacuation, airport taxes, international airfares, board bags fees for international or domestic flights, all costs of travel documents (passport, ID card, visa), drinks and meals (unless mentioned in the description of our products) during transfers and during the trips, tips and personal expenses.
INDONESIAN SURFARIS cannot be held responsible for any problem that occurs during any check-in at the airports, concerning the surfboards size or weight, nor for any damage, loss or delay (no luggage[s] or surfboard[s] at the time of arrival) during the transport in Indonesia or outside of Indonesia by air, rail, land or sea.
6/INDONESIAN SURFARIS RESPONSIBILITY:
INDONESIAN SURFARIS, its agents, partners and representatives do not assume responsibility and will not be responsible for those inherent risks which may cause unfortunate accidents or incidents during ordinary travel conditions.
INDONESIAN SURFARIS will not be held responsible for injury, death, damage, loss, delay, cost, expense, or inconvenience arising from travel misfortunes beyond our control, whatever the way it happened.
7/PARTICIPANT'S RESPONSIBILITY:
There will be no refunds or partial refunds given for early departures from a designated trip, whatever the reason, if it's the participant's own decision to depart a trip earlier than scheduled.
INDONESIAN SURFARIS, its agents, partners and representatives do not assume responsibility and will not be responsible for any problem occurring in a case of non-respect of the local laws and regulations concerning alcohol consumption, assault, robbery, violence toward the local people or the local police forces, drug trafficking, its possession and/or its consumption, nor for any consequences that would result of such behaviors (fines, jail sentences, medical troubles and/or death).
8/ RESPONSIBILITY DURING THE PRACTICE OF SURFING:
INDONESIAN SURFARIS, its agents, partners and representatives cannot check the level of surfing of its participants before and/or during the trips, and do not assume responsibility and will not be responsible for any injury, accident or death happening during the practice of surfing during any of its products.
Participants surf under their own responsibility, they must know their level of surfing and ability to surf according to the daily conditions and their knowledge of the ocean, and they must accept the inherent risks linked to the practice of surfing.
When renting some equipment, the participant must be skilled enough to be able to use the rental equipment on his own. He then practices surfing under his own responsibility.
INDONESIAN SURFARIS and its representatives do not assume responsibility and will not be responsible if any problem happens between the participant and INDONESIAN SURFARIS partners in a case of robbery, loss or damage of the participant's surfboards and/or INDONESIAN SURFARIS partners surfboards.
Make sure that your travel insurance covers surfing and any misfortunate event that might occur during the practice of surfing.
There are no refunds or partial refunds given for poor surf conditions or no surf at all, or inclement weather delaying and/or canceling surfing during any of our products.
9/ TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel Insurance is mandatory on all of our products for your safety.

The VOA charges are as follows:
US$ 10 per person for a maximum period of 7 days/ 6 nights
US$ 25 per person for more than 7 days, and up to a maximum period of 30 days
A charge of US$20 per day will be imposed for overstaying.
Visitors are required to have at hand the following documents for VOA application:
Passport with minimum 6 months' validity
Arrival / departure card
Return or onwards journey ticket
Visitors are advised to bring with them the exact amount in US Dollars for payment of VOA fees so as to minimize inconvenience and ensure a smooth VOA application process.
The Visa-on-Arrival is not extendable.
Group Application of VOA (i.e. for organized / tour groups) can be arranged.
Countries not listed above can apply for Visas at the Indonesian Embassy in your respective country.
HEALTH:
There is malaria, hepatitis A and yellow fever in Indonesia, among other diseases and viruses, and it may be useful to have some injections done before you leave, think about that as some of these treatments need more than 1 injection before departing your country.
The protection of your health is under your own responsibility, do not forget to pack a complete medical kit in your luggage.
There will be no refunds or partial refunds given in a case of cancellation due to the non-respect of the sanitary regulations of Indonesia.
11/ ACCOMMODATION:
Feel free to read the details contained in the descriptions of our products under the tittles ACCOMMODATION.
Double rooms: 2 single beds.
Some places do not provide towels, don't forget to bring yours.
Single rooms: There is an extra charge for the single rooms.
12/ INCLUSIONS:
The costs included in any of our products are mentioned under the tittles INCLUDED in the descriptions of our products and may vary depending of the product.
13/ EXCLUSIONS:
The costs excluded from our products are your personal expenses, excess luggage, travel insurance, airport taxes, passport fee and injections prior to departure, meals and drinks except those mentioned in the description of our products, and everything that is not mentioned under the tittles INCLUDED of our products.
